About Estrelu
Estrelu is a web app for parents of babies and toddlers from birth to age three: sleep, feeds, diapers, wake windows and a summary for the doctor. We build it for tired parents who have no spare minutes and no room for extra worry. This page covers who we are, what we stand for and how we prepare what you read here.
Why Estrelu exists
The early months ask you to remember too much. When was the last feed, which side, how long has the baby been awake, when is the next nap due. Estrelu holds all that for you: one-tap logging by day, swipes on a dark screen at night, a nap forecast, and a handoff summary for your partner, a grandparent or a sitter.
It opens in your phone's browser and installs to your home screen without the App Store or Google Play. After the first launch it works offline.
What we stand for
No red numbers. We don't grade your baby as "good" or "bad." Growth charts show a reference band, not alarming red. The nap forecast is a range with a confidence level, not an order.
No ads, no third-party trackers. We earn money from subscriptions, not from your data. There are no ads and no outside tracking tools in the app.
Your data is yours. Export your logs to JSON or CSV and delete everything from settings. Symptom photos stay on your phone only. Details are in our privacy policy.
Honest about what it does. We only describe features the app actually has. There's no AI assistant, no expert consultations and no app-store listing. Estrelu hasn't launched yet, so we show no reviews and no user counts.
Estrelu is not a medical device
Estrelu doesn't diagnose, doesn't calculate medicine doses and doesn't replace your doctor. In the medicine log, it records when you gave a dose and shows when the next one is allowed. The dose itself always comes from your doctor. If anything about your baby's health worries you, call your doctor.
Languages
Estrelu is available in English, Russian, Portuguese (Brazil) and Spanish. We write the site separately for each language instead of translating from one master text. That way each version reflects the guidance parents actually hear in their country.
How we prepare the content on this site
Every number on the site links to its source: WHO, AAP, CDC, NHS and national pediatric societies. We open each source ourselves and check that the claim is really there. Each page shows when it was last reviewed.
We publish expert quotes only with a link to the article or talk they come from. We don't invent quotes, and we never say "pediatrician approved" unless it's true. The full source list and our review rules are on Sources and how we check our content.
