Baby Medicine Tracker and Fever Log

Published:

Estrelu's baby medicine tracker and fever log helps you keep exact times when your baby is sick. You log each temperature and each dose, see when the next dose is allowed, and get a warning before a possible double dose. Estrelu never calculates doses. It runs in your browser, works offline, and has no ads.

The Temperature and medicine screen in Estrelu: a "not before" timer

The 2 a.m. question

Your baby is hot, you're half asleep, and you can't remember whether your partner gave the fever reducer at 10 or at 11. Guessing is risky. With Estrelu, the time of every dose is in the log, and the timer tells you when the next one is allowed.

How the medicine tracker works

  1. Log a temperature. Record the reading and the time. Your fever log builds a timeline you can scroll through.
  2. Log a dose. Record the medicine and the time you gave it. Estrelu stores the time. It does not suggest an amount.
  3. Watch the "Next dose not earlier than" timer. After each logged dose, it shows the earliest time for the next one, so you don't have to do the math at night.
  4. Confirm if there's a risk. If a new entry could mean a double dose, Estrelu asks you to confirm first.
  5. Photograph symptoms. "Symptoms" saves a picture with the date, so you can show your doctor how a rash changed. Photos stay only on your phone.

What it's based on and what it doesn't do

The tracker is a memory aid, not a medical tool. The dose amount and the gap between doses should come from your pediatrician, your pharmacist or the medicine label. Estrelu only helps you follow the plan you already have.

When a child needs medication, one of the best things to do is keep a written log of the day and time each medication is given to ensure the child stays on schedule and does not get extra doses.

What Estrelu does not do:

  • It does not calculate or recommend medicine doses.
  • It does not diagnose illness or tell you whether a temperature is dangerous.
  • It does not connect to smart thermometers.

When your baby is sick, you can also mark an off day for illness, so the sleep forecast doesn't learn from a rough week. Fever and medicine entries also go into your doctor visit summary, ready for the appointment. If a sitter is with your baby, the caregiver handoff sends the day's key facts in one text.

When to call your pediatrician

According to the AAP, call your pediatrician right away if your baby is younger than 3 months and has a temperature of 100.4°F (38.0°C) or higher (AAP). Also call if your baby is hard to wake, has trouble breathing, refuses to feed, has fewer wet diapers or seems very unwell to you. Call 911 in an emergency. If you think your child took too much medicine, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222.

Estrelu is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, calculate doses or replace advice from your doctor.

Frequently asked questions

Does Estrelu tell me how much medicine to give my baby?
No. Estrelu never calculates doses. Ask your pediatrician or pharmacist for the right dose, and follow the label.
How does the 'Next dose not earlier than' timer work?
After you log a dose, the timer shows when the next one is allowed. The amount and the interval for your baby should still come from your pediatrician, pharmacist or the medicine label.
What happens if two caregivers try to give the same medicine?
If a new entry could mean a double dose, Estrelu asks you to confirm before saving. Once family sync is on, everyone sees the same log.
Where are symptom photos stored?
Symptom photos stay only on your phone. They are not uploaded.
Can I show the fever log to my doctor?
Yes. Fever and medicine entries are part of the doctor visit summary, which you can show on screen, print or send as text.
