Baby Log for Pediatrician Visits
Estrelu turns your daily baby log into a summary for pediatrician visits. Pick 7, 14 or 30 days, and you get a short overview of what you logged plus your own list of questions. Show it on screen, print it or send it as text. It runs in your browser, works offline, and has no ads.

When the doctor asks "How's he been eating?"
You're in the exam room, your baby is fussing on the table, and the pediatrician asks how many wet diapers a day, how naps have been, how long the feeds last. You know you wrote it down somewhere. Then you forget the question you meant to ask on the way out. Estrelu keeps both the answers and the questions in one place.
How the doctor visit summary works
- Log as usual. Feeds, sleep, diapers, fever and medicine all feed into the summary.
- Add questions as they come up. When something worries you at 3 a.m., add it to the question list instead of trying to remember it.
- Choose a period. Build a summary for the last 7, 14 or 30 days.
- Share it your way. Show it on your screen, print it, or send it as plain text.
- Get reminded. Add the appointment and get reminders through your phone's calendar a day before, 2 hours before and 30 minutes before.
Estrelu also keeps an "Emergency card" with allergies, phone numbers and emergency details, and a vaccine list you fill in yourself with a photo of the record.
A typical visit vs Estrelu
| Usually | In Estrelu |
|---|---|
| Guessing feeds and diapers from memory | A summary of 7, 14 or 30 days of real entries |
| Questions forgotten in the exam room | A question list you build between visits |
| Screenshots of several apps | One summary to show, print or send as text |
| Separate reminder apps for appointments | Calendar reminders a day, 2 hours and 30 minutes before |
| Vaccine records on paper only | Your own vaccine list with a photo of the record |
What it's based on and what it doesn't do
The summary is only as complete as your log. It's a way to give your pediatrician facts instead of impressions. Your doctor decides what those facts mean.
The most important thing to track is a baby's growth and development. Parenting apps are appealing because they help parents track how their baby is trending over time.
What Estrelu does not do:
- It does not diagnose, interpret results or say whether something is normal.
- It does not offer consultations with doctors or other specialists.
- It does not provide a vaccine schedule. You mark vaccines yourself.
- It does not connect to your clinic's records system.
If your baby has had a fever or medicine, the fever and medicine log keeps exact times, and symptom photos with dates stay only on your phone. For weight and length checks, the baby growth tracker plots measurements on WHO growth standard curves. The CDC publishes the same WHO charts for US families and clinicians (CDC).
When to call your pediatrician
Don't wait for a scheduled visit if something seems wrong. Call your baby's doctor right away if your baby is under 3 months and has a temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher (AAP), or if your baby has trouble breathing, refuses to feed, has far fewer wet diapers, or seems unusually sleepy or hard to wake. Call 911 in an emergency.
Estrelu is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, calculate doses or replace advice from your doctor.
